Job Description

Established MEP Building Services Consultants with three UK offices, currently undertaking projects including healthcare, hotel, custodial, commercial & high specification residential developments, look to grow their Central London team by the appointment of an additional Mechanical Design Engineer

Role:

Joining a highly experienced professional design team working on projects from inception to completion, your role will include:

  • Full design of Mechanical Building Services installations to concept & detail stages including preparation of design documentation, calculations, specifications & equipment schedules
  • Undertaking thermal modelling calculations
  • Contributing to design team meetings
  • Conducting site surveys & reporting on existing HVAC installations
  • Maintenance of accurate project documentation
  • Preparation of contract documentation and Contractor monitoring

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified to ideally HNC or degree level in a Mechanical Engineering or Building Services discipline
  • Previous experience of HVAC Building Services design gained with either M&E Consultants or D&B Contractors working to UK Standards
  • Highly organised, numerate & proactive
  • Software experience with applications such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD, IES VE/ TAS etc
  • Personable & keen to develop further as an engineer
