Job Description
Independent Civil, Environmental & Structural Engineering Consultants seek to grow their Oxfordshire office by the appointment of an additional Senior Civil Engineer following ongoing success in securing further long-term projects with clients across the Midlands & Southern England
Role:
Joining an experienced team of engineers, technicians & support staff, your role will involve:
- Design of roads, drainage, foundations, retaining structures, earthworks etc working closely with the structural engineering team
- Determination & specification of construction methods, quality, materials & safety standards ensuring construction compliance with design specifications
- Liaison with clients, contractors, statutory authorities & other design disciplines
- Design checking
- Site visits & contractor monitoring
- Management of projects to programme, budget & quality
- Assisting in the development of graduates, junior engineers & technicians
- Maintaining your CPD and professional development
Job Requirements:
- Qualified to preferably MEng level (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Actively working toward CEng/ MICE registration
- Significant Civil Engineering consultancy experience, to UK Standards, taking schemes from concept through to construction-ready
- Experience of AutoCAD & PDS
- Excellent client facing skills, able to forge long-term relationships
